The SFTS program helps families in the Jaffrey/Rindge and surrounding areas to get back on their feet while also allowing children to have the continuity in their school experience.

SFTS seeks to meet the transitional housing needs of families, single persons, elderly or handicapped persons who have temporarily become homeless due to such acute situations as divorce, domestic violence, job loss, foreclosure, medical expenses, etc.

The expectation is that our guests will be employed and financially independent within 8 months.

SFTS honors the dignity and privacy of our guests.

This site is designed to inform and serve the needs of potential shelter guests, volunteers, and the community.
